Hand-in-Hand Workshop UK 2026
The Evolution of Transnational Education
21-22 April 2026
London, United Kingdom
In April 2026, AIFE will host its first Hand-in-Hand workshop in London, UK on the grounds of our partner, Birkbeck, University of London.
The Hand-in-Hand Workshop provides a valuable opportunity for senior representatives from our Global Partner universities to convene, exchange information, and learn from best practices. Throughout the workshop sessions, we will explore strategies and initiatives implemented by our partner universities, to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes for all parties, including our Chinese partner universities.
2026 is a significant year for AIFE. This year presents an opportunity for us to adapt to the evolving landscape of our organisation and the broader international education sector. As we navigate these changes, we will focus on strengthening our programs, expanding our global partnerships, and enhancing our impact in the field of international education. Hand-in-Hand UK is an opportunity to share strategies and innovate together to create sustainable and accessible education offerings.
We have an innovation to our traditional Hand-in-Hand structure and have added in a half-day academic workshop. This workshop is targeted at faculty staff and will cover teaching plan development, curriculum mapping, MoE requirements, and teaching visits. While this session is ideal for leaders overseeing curriculum design, those preparing for teaching visits, and collaborating with Chinese partners it’s open to all international and academic colleagues.
AIFE is proud to have partnerships with universities across Australia, New Zealand, Europe, America, and the UK, and is committed to building long-term, sustainable, and mutually beneficial relationships in global education.
