2019 Sino-Australia Workshop for

TCM Resources Research and Development

In response to the development and strategic planning of TCM under the ‘Belt and Road’ initiative, the Tasmanian Institute of Agriculture (TIA) and AEMG W&E Health, both partners in the Research Hub for Traditional Chinese Medicine, are co-organizing the first Sino-Australia Workshop  for TCM Resources Research and Development planned to be held in Australia from the 8th of December to the 13th of December 2019.

With a key theme of “Clean, Green TCM products for Community Health” which sheds light on three subjects, namely Big Data In  TCM microenvironment manipulation, TCM in community healthcare development, Agriculture technology and Agritourism. The workshop will gather relevant scholars, clinicians, and experts from universities and hospitals in China and Australia for potential opportunities to jointly apply for and work on research projects revolving around the themes. With a focus on farm visits accompanied by expert narrative and discussion the workshop will provide a unique opportunity to explore research into TCM characteristics and concepts in Tasmanian growing environments, discover the quintessence of TCM, and identify the unique advantages of TCM for community health in global markets.

We would like to formally invite you to share your knowledge and expertise, by joining us for this exciting workshop. We look forward to seeing you in Australia, and have attached a proposed itinerary for your consideration.
